Self Experimentation

I’ve always admired those who could take the scientific method and apply it to their own lives. Those who had the motivation and persistence to the keep it going. So, I’ve been doing Noom for over 100 days and I’m nearing the end of the program that I’m in. This stage is all about moving you to the self experimentation mind set so you can figure out which works best for you.

I know this one sounds easy and a no brainer but for my first official self experiment, Can a regular workout program change your body?

The workout program that I will be using is Just 6 Weeks. Which provides a series of progressive workouts which moves from being able to do 0 to 100-200 of some very basic exercises ie push-ups, sit-ups, squats, planks, …

I’m less interested in how my weight changes and more interesting on how my muscles and skin tension changes so I will be measuring my neck, chest, waist, hips, thighs, and biceps.

So, here are my current measurements :

Neck51
Chest145
Waist146
Hips146
Left Thigh86
Right Thigh87
Left Bicep55
Right Bicep55
Units are in centimeters

And here is my first day test for Just 6 Weeks:

Push-Ups3
Sit-Ups9
Squats13
Plank00:30
