Trust the plan, but there is no plan!!!

It is said that following a bad plan is better than no plan and I’ve been flying with no plan for some time. I keep trying to make a plan, or plans. I do some research, outline some stuff, take some notes and then just drop it. Maybe pick it up again a few days, weeks, or months later (My 3d printer is still packed away and I don’t think I’ve rode my bike in a year). I need to use someone else’s plan.
