IDE and CI/CD … high expectations

I guess most people learn their dev workflow in school and/or the dev shops they work in. Since I’m doing this all on my own, I’ll have develop all my own dev workflow (unless any of yous would like to recommend some blogs or whatnot). I envision my workflow like this:

  1. Checkout project from GitLab repo
  2. Have Atom figure what type of code/project it is (or maybe this needs to be done in GitLab and pulled into Atom)
  3. Do my code changes and save
  4. Kick off local basic code tests and maybe some performance stuff
  5. Commit changes to GitLab repo
  6. Kick off code and performance tests
  7. Generate and send reports

And of course I have to figure these all out for 7 different languages!
